ARSENALFIRST DROP / 001
Browser-native / evidence-bounded

Film.
Equipment.

Cinematic browser physics with enough structure to survive the handoff—and enough honesty to say what has not yet been proved.

The promise, narrowed correctly

Two objects.
Two roles.

The Cove is the cinematic proof: an authored WebGPU water experience with live controls and a Director. cloth-v1 is the take-home proof: a standalone workspace exposing a fixed-step simulation seam, direct manipulation, declared contracts, an editable Room, and checks that can fail.

They are released together because neither is made to impersonate the other. The film shows an artistic ceiling. The mount shows what another builder can actually carry away.

Cinematic example

The Cove

FFT wind sea, authored swell, reflection and refraction, absorption, foam, caustics, live weather and optics, and a five-shot Director.

Not presented as a portable water mount or a physically calibrated ocean.
Portable capability

cloth-v1

Position-Verlet cloth, structural/shear/bend constraints, reduced-order wind, direct pointer pinning, a protected equipment layer, and an editable composition layer.

Not calibrated to a named textile; no self-collision or promise of automatic artistic quality.
Apache-2.0 code / explicit boundaries

Open enough to use.
Bounded enough to trust.

Use, modify, redistribute, and sell work built with the released code under Apache-2.0. Preserve the license and notices. Project identity, screenshots, films, and unreleased workshop systems remain separate.

CheckedNamed CPU properties, opposed cloth control, clean builds, runtime-network audit, and live WebGPU exercise.
Not impliedUniversal correctness, physical calibration, identical GPU results, or automatic excellence from arbitrary prompts.
Still privateBlackglass heavy water, a reusable 001+022+023 loop, the wider registry, unfinished mounts, and workshop history.
